We use the following programs to build procurement capabilities:
MIPP – A leadership programme in procurement
The MIPP (Maersk Internal Procurement Program) is a new internal leadership program within procurement and strategic sourcing managed by Maersk Procurement. It is a compact and intensive educational program with high demands for the participants.
The combination of professional, personal and leadership capabilities and skills makes MIPP a really strong procurement education and a solid platform for a successful career in the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group - first and foremost within procurement, but potentially also in other parts of the organisation.
The Procurement Academy
The Procurement Academy develops the procurement competence level of employees in the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group.
The objectives of the Procurement Academy are to
- lift competence level and develop new skills
- build and incorporate the A.P. Moller - Maersk spirit and culture
- create a strong network among purchasers and procurement people
